A little bird told me

I've been experimenting with colour combos I usually don't use with inspiration from Jennifer McGuire. I'm like the birdie hanging mid air, ready to fly. Clean and simple with a pattern and muted colours, could that be something? And a lovely shimmer to go :)

Challenges:
Addicted to stamps: Make your mark (sponging)
Crafty Calendar: Anything Goes
4 Crafty Chicks: Crazy Egg Anything Goes
Less Is More: White space without white
Simon Says Stamp: Anything Goes with Ranger

Materials used:
Hero Arts large plaid stamp, embossing ink onto watercolour paper and clear powder.
Tea Dye and Antique Linen Distress inks, golden and bronze Perfect Pearls.
An Art-C bird stamp and die, Versafine black ink and  a touch of Wink of Stella.
Golden Liquid Pearls and reused ribbon from a t-shirt.

Thank you so much for visiting, it's much appreciated! Enjoy some crafting and use some for you new colours.

Love and hugs
Maarit

  8. Wow, loving that beautiful background Maarit! Your little "create" birdie goes so well with the background. Loving the color combo of that background as well. Right now we are having very high wind advisories, so no gardening for me. We are back to being cold again. 17 today with wind chills, brrrrr! But spring temps will be back soon. Might but out a tomato plant later in spring, but that will be it. Don't need much food since hubby passed away. I always loved the fresh foods from my garden though! Enjoy yours!! Hugs, Brenda

  16. This is beautiful Maarit, however, we really need to see some plain card base with no design or pattern for it to be truly 'white space'!
    Super make though!
    Thanks so much
