Scandinavian Winter

Every now and then, read almost never, I'll end up with a quick card. My idea when I began making cards was to create loads of them as it would be so easy. The cost would be low too....you may laugh out loud now :)

They take ages and lot of tries, the cost is simply silly and I have to find new hiding places for all the stash, but I do love it! May I introduce the Scandinavian Winter line and enter November Rudolph Days. The sentiment says Merry Christmas in Swedish.

DCWV designer card stock, Martha Stewart punch, ribbon from Spain, Archival ink and embossing powder.

With this I'll enter:
CAS on Sunday: Christmas
Addicted to CAS: Dimension

The crisp cut outs and the soft ribbon :)

Thank you so much for visiting, it's much appreciated! Hope you're all well, staying safe and warm or cool.

Love and hugs
Maarit

  16. I love this card, it is so pretty and have a sense of real winter. So tell me, do all Swedes love winter? My grandparents were all Swedish and even thought I live here in the US, in a very wintery place, I don't like winter. I keep wondering if that's a learned thing or if I just have some mutated gene. Ha-ha.

  30. Hi Maarit!
I have come here via Barbara Williams (Barb's Faraway Cards). She told me she had a new friend, so I'm here to say hello.
Your 'God Jul' card is wonderful! I love it. I had to smile about what you said about cardmaking being easy and cheap... I don't make a lot of cards as i live in a country where they don't 'do' cards (I live in Spain). But I do make a few for friends and family in Europe.
I looked at some other posts you did. I really like the Hayao Miyazaki inspired drawing. I have recently discovered zentangling and I have been a fan of Studio Ghibli films for ages.
    Have a good week,
    Lisca
