Say hello

Hello sweeties, hope you're having a lovely weekend! If not, lots of hugs your way!

This time of the year I so adore the colours of ripe red apples with the green leaves making a lovely background  with the last warmth of the summer sun. We visited a wonderful apple orchard belonging to a baroque castle built between 1654 and 1674 today. It's quite extraordinary to have one of their apples, even if the tree might not have been that old!

Challenges:
Crafty Calendar: Anything Goes
Crafty Catz: Anything Goes

Materials used:
Stamplorations stamps
Colours: Watering Can Archival ink, Distress ink, Derwent watercolour, pastel and inktense pens, Aqua Markers, Brushos, Gun Metal Stickles, white and black Sakura pen
Papers: watercolour paper, Bazzill and DQWV card stock
Dragon fly brad from stash, Technique Tuesday sentiment dies, EK Success yellow corner adorner

Thank you so much for visiting, it's much appreciated! I was struggling with this post, it might come across as very shallow when reading the news these days. But be sure that I'm doing my part helping people in need.

Love and hugs
Maarit

  8. This is so pretty, Maarit and the old castle sounds lovely. You don't sound shallow at all: I think in times like these it's really important to support places that are a source of employment. Without this it is much more difficult to offer the kind of practical support needed by those who are suffering. Hugs xx
