I got the Blues

Hello sweeties, I've been enjoying the holidays and I seem to be stuck in blue colours, could it be all the rain? So the good thing about the rain is that I've found lots of fabby tutorials as Tamara Laparte's Processing Feelings through creativity. The short version is that when in distress scribble down feelings, thoughts and physical stuff and then use soothing colours and create art over the scribble.

You can se some of the scribble here.

My first face was a very upset gnome with a bathing cap, when I applied white gesso over it the face turned to a beauty. So I'm entering Art It Friday Show your Face , Art Journal Every Day and Paint Party Friday with her.

Materials used:
Stamplorations and Tim Holtz stencils
Derwent charcoal and watercolour pens
Liquitex gesso, white acrylic paint and pens, Uni pin pen and....

Have a wonderful creative weekend!

Love and hugs
Maarit

  2. Made me think of the song....wonder if she's singing it. "Am I blue, am I blue..are these tears in my eyes, am I blue." Maybe you're to young to remember that song.

I love your lady...is she enjoying a hot tub....Your work has so much personality.
