This Makes Me Happy

Less Is More wants to see what makes you happy. But really, the Caffeine stamp was the most expensive stamp ever!!! It came with a huge domestic postal fee and I hid the stamp in a drawer as I felt a bit miserable about the cost. When using the stamp the cling mount was the wrong way up, and the stamp stuck to the stamping block and I had to remount it. Coffee still makes me happy! And trees, butterflies and Hessian baskets!

And inside the card
You'll find my hubby!
Other challenges:
CASology: Basket (Hessian Basket)
Addicted to CAS: Distress

Materials used:
Rubbadubbadoo coffee and male stamps, Distress inks (Old Linen, Red Mahogany, Vintage photos, Tea dye), Just Rite background stamp, Kaisercraft leaf stamp and half pearls, TH butterfly stamps, golden Perfect Pearl, water mister, Bazzill card stock, DQWV designer paper.
Thank you so much for visiting, it's very much appreciated! I hope you're having a wonderful week with lots of things that make you happy.

Love and hugs
Maarit

  12. Besides running out space to store stamps, mailing fees are one of the reasons I started using digital images. I feel your pain! But I have to say the stamp is a beauty. What a wonderful creation!

  26. What a cool card Maarit! I love that stamp, it gives the eyes so much texture to look at. I have to say that your story had me re-reading it. We have all been there Maarit, trust me we have been, but if it makes you happy then you can't put a price on what makes you happy. So I'm glad you got it out and are enjoying it! Now the inside of your card cracked me up! Too cute! Hugs, Brenda

  34. I can't help but laugh at your story here. :) I think most of us stampers can relate! Now that it's been properly mounted and inked, I'm guessing your stamp will be put to good use and pay for itself quite nicely!!! ;) Just think of the amount of money you save each time you make your own card rather than buy one at the store!
I love the background on this and the way so many images came together into a beautiful collage! Thanks so much for joining us over at CASology! :)
