Piece of Mind

Hello crafty friends, I've been playing with colours and words as I've been amazed by Mystele who makes the most wonderful art, I'm always looking forward to her new tutorials.

I've used the à la mode spring colours pink and coral, blue for the sky and green for St Pat. I really enjoyed myself and worked with flow, so showing a piece of my mind rendered peace of mind :)

Challenges:
Pixies Snippet's Playground: Use Snippets
All Craft Challenge: Anything Goes, No cards
Path of Positivity: Serendipity (finding Mystele's blog)
Simon Says Monday Challenge: A hint of green
Artist Trading Post: Springtime
The three muses: Sky's the limit
Craft Stamper TIMI: Anything Goes, Use a stamp

Materials used:
Derwent watercolour, pastel, inktense and graphic pens, Sakura pens, Promarkers, golden Liquid Pearls, grey Archival ink, free stamp from Craft Stamper, Papermania designer paper snippets, Claudine Hellmuth gesso and semi gloss acrylic colours, TH stencil, Liquitex matt paste, DQWV cardstock as base.

Thank you so much for visiting, it's much appreciated sweeties! We're enjoying spring weather today, that's very unusual in March, so a walk in the sunshine and lunch out is at the agenda. Have a wonderful day with peace of mind.

Love and hugs
Maarit

  6. Back again - I have always wondered about the name of your blog. Is Violet a person, a beloved pet, your favourite colour? Yes, I know curiosity killed the cat but I thought I would ask since I wonder it every time I visit. I looked at your About Me section but didn't see anything about it.

  13. Well, I think that this piece shows that the process gave you peace of mind, it's muted colours are very calm by comparison to some of your other arts. I like it. I like too that it was a theraputic process for you!
