Two for Christmas

Hope you're having a pleasant weekend; it's hot, hot, hot here.So I'm being very lazy, reading books and coping with the heat. Household chores brought down to the minimal must do's like bringing food to the table. In between I squeeze in some crafting, my tiny crafty corner is more like a sauna at the moment.

Challenges:
SARN's Rudolph Day: Two Christmas Cards
Southern Girls: Christmas is a-coming..
Lexi's Creations: Christmas in July
ABC Christmas Challenge: Obscured (the sentiment)
Simon Says Stamp: Emboss It (embossed Nestie and embossing paste)

Materials used:
Magnolia image coloured with Aqua Markers, Derwent water colour and Inktense pens. Stickles adde for som shine and glitter.
The two panels were made with embossing paste and acrylic colours.
The sentiment was stamped with red Brilliance ink and cut out end embossed with a Nestie circle.
Kaiser Craft half pearls, DQWV cardstock, Joanna Sheen pine dies, ghost leaves, the flowers are kind gifts.

Materials used:
Vilda Stamps Christmas tree stamped with Distress ink, some Stickles and Liquid pearls added.
Tim Holtz alphabet, MME Bella Bella design paper leftover from another project, silver cardstock leftover

Thank you for visiting, it means a lot to me! Hope you're up to something nice, by the way, I saw one of the Monty Python live broadcast shows. They were so fun to see and what a fabulous arena they had, I used to watch them at TV when I was little. Tim Holtz alphabet dies above is almost the same font they had :) Need to find a large foot stamp too!
Warm hugs and love
Maarit

  14. Two most beautiful cards for your stash. I thought the embossed paste panels were handmade paper at first. What a wonderful result you achieved on that technique! So lovely. The red shades were so pretty and loved the dies too. #2 is very festive with that luscious tree against that marvelous flourish paper too. TFS & hope you get some cooler weather. Hot in our area as well. You can come enjoy our porch anytime you wish. Would love to have you. Right now we can be out in the late evenings about dusk. Too hot during the day, and I don't get up early enough in the mornings for that time! Hugs
