Summer breezes

We're enjoying a fabulous weekend with summer temperatures, I'm hiding indoors at midday for crafting as my skin never get a tan, it gets different shades of red. Love the new +50 SPF products and cooling shadows. I was going to write that I prefer to lurk in the shadows, but that gives an impression of a Quasimodoish type, doesn't it?!

Challenges:
Less Is More: Die Cuts
CASology: Flower
Cute Card Thursday: Text only, no stamped image
Pixie's Snippets Playground: Use them Snippets

I used:
Tim Holtz flower die
QK circle die
Itsy Bitsy background stamp, water mister
Aqua Markers, liquid pearls, perfect pearls
Retired sentiment stamp, it says get well in Swedish
Kaiser half pearl, Memento Black ink
Cut out the stem with a pair of scissors

Thank you for all your kind words, I'm feeling much better. I've been choosing to do something I love to do at least once  a day...and that really helps. The daily chores are there anyhow. I'm still a slow blogger though, so bear with me.

Love and warm hugs
Maarit

  1. Good morning, glad you are managing to get some summer even though you do like to lurk in the shadows. Here in Perthshire, Scotland it is tipping down with rain and the heating has gone on.

I love your clean & simple card. The background, image and design are beautiful.
    Enjoy your day

  7. Ahhhh..this card is crisp and fun and lovely too! Love those vidid colours for the stamped background...so perfect for this wonderful bloom!

Glad to hear that you are doing the one moment of joy a day...It really helps.
Sometimes, in all the rushing about of life itwelf, I forget to feed my soul! with joy. Then you can lose the ability to recognize and find it, for a while.
Once you start in little steps to find it again, then the low is lifted! At least that is the way it is for me!
