What's On Your Workdesk this 5th day of Christmas?

I have escaped from the kitchen to make a winter scene card, thought that I was done with all the wintery cards, but nope one more pops out just by accident. I had and still have an idea of brayering a fire work scene, but muddled up the inks and didn't want to throw away the piece so it became a wintery scene instead. I'm almost out of glossy cardstock now so I hope that next try works out.

But I could do with some craft shopping as there's a pile of rubbah just waiting to be mounted and some cut out pieces to make a home made one of.
Most of my stamps are stored on these laminated sheets. I have unmounted some of the smaller ones from their wood blocks, it's easier to store them like this and it was a question of storing clothes or stamps. I still need the clothes!

Here's a the few with wood blocks and the pile of often used clear stamps. Love to just look at the TH stamps...does it sound silly?! He he, well it won't harm anyone!

Visit Julia if you want to join the desk tour.

Hugs
Maarit

  6. I have just begun the task of removing my stamps from the wood. You are right, it is much easier to store and saves tons of room without all that wood. :)
    Happy New Year!!

  7. There's nothing wrong with raiding the cupboards just to look at the beautiful craft stash...it doesn't sound silly at all - just means that you still find your purchases gorgeous. Enjoy that winter scene, and then the fireworks in due course.

Wishing you a happy and craft 2011

  15. Hello Maarit, lots of lovely stamps to show us this week and your desk looks great - really interesting. Should I be saving all my rubber off-cuts? I will have to think about how you go about making your own stamps with them! Wishing you health, wealth and happiness in 2011. Elizabeth #57
