Life Cycle

Just a quick share today, totally busy with work tonight. I made the background with Distress ink and a mask for the moon. The stamps are Pink Paislee and are stamped with black Versa Fine. Highlights were added with a white Uni Ball and metallic Sakura pen. The edges got a layer of black Versa Fine too. I kind of like the effect!

I would like to enter the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp: Father's day/ Special male
Crafty Catz Challenges: Card for a man

Book Lover

Time for a new challenge at Cupcake Craft Challenges; the lovely Denise wants to see book pages, an image of a book or a bookmark. I did choose a dictionary page with words that begin with book in Swedish, and to confuse, some stamps from Pink Paislee in English! Please visit our blog to read more about our generous sponsors A Day for Daisies and Make the Day Special.

A Day for Daisies kindly offered the images to the team and I got the fabulous Mermaid in a jar. She's been coloured with Alpha Markers and the water was coloured with Aqua Markers, hehe, what else!
I added some highlights with a white Uni-Ball pen, some Flower soft for texture and Glossy Accents for a shiny tail. The tiny bubbles were made with Liquid Pearls and the sand got some Distress Stickles for interest.
Some flower soft were also used to make a shade in the water. And Crackle paint for the book page for a worn look.

Oh, and the lid is painted with diluted Liquid pearls and a brush, it's very easy and gives a nice glimmer IRL.

I'm entering:
Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge: Girlie
Cute Card Thursday: A Touch of Sparkle
Carfter's Companion: Here Comes Summer

Have a wonderful week full of lovely books!

Bingo Night

Hope you're all well and are ready for some Bingo at Creatalicious Challenges! I did choose the top row: Flowers, Anything But a Square card and Buttons. I wanted to share the card as the result was so pleasing with it's early spring colours and fab small flowers. And because spring has really come with warmth and greens at last, so much that there's hope for summer too! I've been cleaning away all the winter coats and shoes and I'm dreaming of a new pair of summer shoes.

I used:
Creative Expressions Medallion stamp
Memento Rich Cocoa and Bamboo Leaves inks
Aqua Markers
Liquid Pearls
Nestabilities die

I'm entering:
Dream Valley Challenges: Case (Carrie's fab circular card!)
Fab'n'Funky: Buttons and Bows
Sweet Stampin' Challenge: Flower Power
Truly Scrumptious: Anything Goes

Ooh La La

The fantastic Faye at Cupcake Craft Challenges wants to see something Saucy and something French, blue, white and red this week. Here's my interpretation of the theme, a lovely image from Stampendous stamped with Memento Paris Dusk!

The leaves were coloured with cut'n'dry nibs and Distress inks and the roses were coloured with Alpha markers and got a some some stickles and glossy accents as a covering layer. I also used liquid pearls and metallic Sakura pens. The alaphabet is from Hero Arts and it's stamped with Distress inks.

We're being sponsored by Heather Ellis and Simon Says Stamps, great huh?! Please check our blog for all the details and to see the teams fantastic work.

I'm entering:

Have a wonderful week!
