Boys And Their Toys

Hope you're all well and had a wonderful weekend! Last week was special here, we got a baby Princess, Estelle!!! And sunshine, no freezing -10°C in the morning and the snow is melting, hooray!!!

This week at Cupcake Craft Challenges the sweet Denise has chosen the theme to be Boys And Their Toys. I thought about cars at once; my now teenage boys loved them when they were little and I overheard a conversation between two men at the bus about cars, so that could fit both younger and older boys, he he!

We're being sponsored by Crafty Emma's Store, who are offering a lucky winner a £10 Gift Voucher.

I'm entering:
Sweet Stampin' Challenge: It's A Man Thing
Simply Create Too: Add Sunshine To Your Day

I used:
Brayered Distress Inks  on glossy cardstock
Tim Holtz car, clock and text stamps
Versa Fine black ink
Stampscapes foliage stamps
White Uni Ball pen for highlights
Nestabilities Circle die
zig zag scissors

Have a wonderful week full of sunshine!

Fluffy Pink Cupcakes

Good morning all! Hope you had a fab weekend; I met a friend and her baby son, he's just adorable! A perfect end on a silly week trying to catch up after having the flu. A few more days and all will be back to normal and I might treat myself with a Cupcake...or two!

Our theme at Cupcake Craft Challenges this week is chosen by the fab Keeley. She wants to see the colour pink, at least one Cupcake and something Fluffy. I decided to add a fluffy heart! To not make it too cute, the background got a bit distressing and embossing with my homemade Cupcake embossing folder.

We're being sponsored by Prairie Fairy Designs who are offering a lucky winner a $10 Gift Certificate. Please check our blog for all the details and to see the teams fantastic cards.

I'm entering:
One Stop Craft Challenges: Make Your Own Background
Crafty Catz Challenges: Favourite Things (Distress Inks, Stickles, stamps)

Here's the embossing folder, I use cardboard from a cereal package and from a large box.
The cupcakes were stamped, cut out with scissors and glued on place.

I also used:
Panduro Cupcake Stamp
Penny Black sentiment and butterfly from the Hugs! set
Fabric and cardboard to make the heart
Distress Inks and Stickles
Glossy Accents
Alpha Markers

Have a wonderful week with lots of cupcakes!

Woohoo! Two posts in a week! I'm feeling proud to have managed it! And stepping out of my comfort zone when it comes to the cutesy style, so don't judge the card too hard!

We're having a new challenge at Creatalicious Challenges; Lace! Easy, huh?! The team was kindly sponsored by Inked Treasures with lovely images, please check our blog for all the details and to see the teams fab work!

Out Of Focus

Hiya all, hope you had a wonderful weekend. I had a very quite one as last week was a bit rough. Just a silly cold and a very busy week at work, nothing worse, but it took it's toll when Friday evening came; I fell asleep when I came home! No fancy Friday fun there, he he! And this weeks card for the Cupcake Craft Challenge seems to be a bit out of focus, just like me today, tee hee! The butterflies aren't as vivid in real life, more like the top left corner, the winter light is still making silly things with the photos.

Our sweet Minxie has chosen us the theme to be En-twined and you can see the twine amongst the entwined stems!

We're being sponsored by The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop who is offering Baker's Twine to a lucky winner and The Stamp Fairy who is offering a gift certificate to a lucky winner. You'll find all the details and the teams fantastic projects at our blog.
I'm entering:

I used:
Chocolate Baroque stamp
Distress Ink and Cut N Dry pen nibs
An oval Nestabilitie
Penny Black Butterfly stamp
Perfect Pearls
My Minds Eye Bella Bella paper
Alpha Marker
Cutllebug corner dies

Have a wonderful week and may you get some entwined flowers!

Good Morning Starshine

The sweet Sari, our Sunshine at Cupcake Craft Challenges, has chosen us a fabby colour combo; Pink And Red! At first I thought that it was a tough one, but once I remembered a very loved pink and red striped towel it became much easier! And yes there's a bit cheating, a pink moon didn't look well! The card is for a loved friend so I did want it to look nice.

The wonderful image, Aurelia Mooncatcher, is from Pollycraft Designs, who are offering a lucky winner 5 images. Our other sponsor this week, Simon Says Stamps, are offering a lucky winner a $20 Gift Certificate, great huh!? Check our blog for all the details and to see the teams fantastic work.

I used:
Aplha Markers
Sakura metallic pen
Exchangeable alphabet stamps
Versa Fine Ink
Circle Nesties
ric rac ribbon
