Can't decide if I like this one or not...

Hope you're having a good week so far! I've been busy with my physiotherapy, it takes some time and a lot of energy, so I haven't had any energy left for cardmaking. How sad is that? Have done some stamping but can't get it right. I'm sure that mojo will come back when my body gets more used to the light training.

So here's one that I'm not sure about, maybe there's too much brown. I think I'll try this layout again but with some other colours. As I made some 3D effects I'm entering A Spoon Full of Sugars challenge. The sentiment says "Thank you" in Swedish.

Stamps: Penny Black flower, Hero Arts background, Inkido butterfly, Kortmakaren sentiment
Colours: Distress Inks, Versa Colors, embossing powders, Sakura pen
Tools: Cuttlebug frills, Nestabilities ovals, Panduro flower punch, scissors, 3D tape
Brad and half pearls are from my stash.

Tomorrow I'll make a chocolate trifle and I'm already looking forward to it :) I'm sure it will help mojo to come back!

Big hugs

Goth Tilda? Nope Twilight Bella ... eh, Tilda!

Good afternoon! Hope you all had a fab weekend. We had plenty of sunshine and I got a real energy boost. Managed to make some shopping at Saturday and at Sunday hubby and I went to a local cafĂ©. It is just by a small lake and they have art for sales, so there´s always something new to look at and talk about. If you don´t like the art you can always rest your eyes on the lake, hehe.

With this card I went for a slightly distressed look. Oh, and talk about distress. Hope you´re not in the need of flying in Europe, so many cancelled flights. I know a couple who had tickets for Mauritius...

Stamps: Magnolia image, TH flourish, TH harlequin texture, Inkido butterflies
Colours: watercolour pens, Distress Inks, Stickles, embossing powders,
Tools: Nestabilities dies, QK heart die, MS border punch, Panduro flower punch
Embellishments are from my stash (the big flower is Prima)

Just Magnolia: a fab sketch to follow
Colour Create Challenges: lilac, grey and white
Bizzy BecsCreatalicious challenges: flowers and wings
Simon Says Stamp Challenge: Lets go to the movies and dry embossing: I´ve got some inspiration from the Twilight movies (love the books!) and the Nestabilities ovals have a dry embossed border

Thanks for any comments you may leave, they really brighten my day!

Playing around with a new stamp

Hope you´re enjoying the week so far! We have a fab week with lots of sunshine and the first small spring flowers are showing. Love them! Makes my slow walks with crutches much more worthwhile. Every day there´s some new flowers popping up! My card is very much inspired by the flowers although the colours are much more summer inspired and I haven´t seen any butterflies yet. Night are still just above 0 degrees Celsius, but very soon...

Stamps: Penny Black, Inkido and Kortmakaren (it says Happy Birthday in Swedish)
Colours: Distress Inks, embossing powders ( I have even embossed the buttons with Rangers Cranberry, it´s perfect when you need a button but doesn´t have the needed colour)
Tools: Spellbinders Labels, flower punch from Panduro
Buttons and ric rac is from my stash.

Tomorrow I have my first real rehab training to look forward to... and I´m not looking forward to it. They´ll ask me to make impossible excercises and say it´s good for me, hehe. I´ll buy some lovely treat afterwards I think :)

Penny Black Saturday: buttons galore
Cupcake Craft Challenges: cildhood memories- grans lovely garden in the summer!

Thanks for any comments you may leave, they really brighten my days!

A happy surprise and a spring hat? colourful flower storage!

Oh I´m so delighted, I´ve been featured at Swedish Scrapbooking with this page! There are so many supertalented ladies there, can´t believe this is true, it´s such an honour! This really brightens my week. (Some days are so tough after the op and all kind of movements are hurting after a few minutes. It will take a few more months to recover.)

The page is made with stamps from Obsession Impression, Hero Arts and Inkido. I´ve used Distress Inks, embossing powders, different Sakura pens, Liquid Pearls, dymo machine and a make up powder as Perfect Pearls.

The text says "I like: my family, choclate and creating."

I haven´t had any good storage for bought flowers with stems. If you put to many together some flowers will always fall off. I saw someone use a piece of styrofoam for flowers or other embellishments attached to a wire.

I have covered my styrofoam by felting some wool with felt needles and I also added a cut out piece of felt to the bottom.

You will need to make holes with a pointed tool in the felt prior to attaching the flowers, otherwise you´ll ruin the flower stems. My flowerstems are entirely hidden.

You don´t need to cover the styrofoam with wool, you can easily use it as it is and won´t get a colour chock either, hehe.

Hope you´re having a good week so far too!

Thanks for any comments you may leave.

A distressing week

Good evening everyone! Hope you´ve had a "Good Friday" and have some nice plans for the weekend.

This week has indeed been distressing both in crafting and in real life. Distressed crafting is so much more fun than real life distress!

I´ve recently joined a challenge at Swedish Scrapbooking where you´re supposed to make a book about yourself, one page a month and photos are optional. I have only made the page for march so I wanted to make those I´ve missed too.

The page above is made with TH stamps, Distress Inks, Perfect Pearls, Crackle Paint, acrylic paint, Dimensional Magic, embossing powders and a distressing tool. The sentiment says "If I would win 1 million" and it is created with a DYMO machine and some scrap paper. The wonderful flower is Prima and everything else is from my stash.

I´m entering this weeks challenge at Simon Says Stamp as they want to see some distressing and TH products.
This one is made with the new Distress Inks Tumbled Glass and Spun Sugar, aren´t they the sweetest colours yet? I´ve embossed the KC paperfrill and the buttons, maybe you can see some of it if you click on the pic. I´ve also used a sanding block, Stickles and Liquid Pearls. The flowers are Prima. The sentiment says "This Year - Health, Love, Joy"

With this one I´m entering Colour Create Challenge with my pastels and spring theme.

I know I´m boring you with a lot of pics today :)

This one is meant to be the front page and it says "The book about me - Year 2010".

I made it with Distress Inks, Perfect Pearls and embossing powder, TH alphabet masks and stamps . The corners and flowers are Cuttlebug. The butterfly is reused from a gift, I believe it´s a MS one, correct me if I´m wrong.
I´m not sure if I really like this one, it seems so pompous with the bold alphabet and a book about me, hehe. I´m not interesting in any ways, so I might make another one.

Lots of love to all of you,
