I put a spell on you

Hello sweeties, I'm glad to see ya'!!! I've been down with a really naughty bug; this is my first day up on wobbly legs, still coughing as mad, but much chirpier. It really have felt like someone put a spell on me; this card might work for Valentine too...for those who aren't in for the more romantic versions like in my previous post.

Challenges:
Pixie's Snippets Playground: Use snippets (I used snippets for digi stamping)
CAS on Sunday: Valentine
Crafty Calendar: Love is in the air
Fantasy Stampers: Love is in the air
Dream Valley Challenges: Valentine's Day

Mo Manning image and sentiment.

The image was coloured with ProMarkers and cut out with an oval Spellbinder die. The top of the ears was cut out with scissors and placed above the die to get a partial die cut. I used some scraps.

Thank you so much for visiting, it's much appreciated!

Valentines at Sweet Stampin'

We're getting ready for Valentines Day at Sweet Stampin' and would love to see you join too. Remember to use a stamp, digi or rubber. We're being sponsored by Crafty Ribbons, please check our blog for all the details and to see the teams fabulous cards.

Challenges:
Dream Valley Challenges: Something New ( the heart stamp)

Add a bit of shading and the image seems to float.

Materials used:
Hero Arts blooming heart stamped with embossing ink onto water colour paper and then heat embossed with extra fine clear embossing powder.

The paper was sprinkled with Purple, Red and Scarlet Brushos and misted with a golden Perfect Pearls water solution.  I used a brush to add more colour to some parts of the heart. The colours were too heavy around the heart so I diluted the colours with clean water and dabbed it with a piece of cloth.

The sentiment that says You are my heart in Swedish was stamped with Watering Can Archival ink.

Some silver Paper Pen dots and a heart charm.

Thank you so much for visiting! Hope you'll have a wonderful weekend, my hubby has been away for two weeks so I'm looking forward to see him again.

Love and hugs

T is for Technique at Snarky Stampers

I'm over the moon being invited as a Guest Designer at Sisterhood of Snarky Sisters, it's an honour to be adopted!!! The challenge is T for Technique, it can be an old or a new one. I went for Pointillism or as Jennifer McGuire says, dots with a Marker.

I opted for some kind of mild snarkiness with misspelling too! I can admit that it was a spelling error from my side, but I do claim the freedom of the artist here :)

Challenges:
Addicted to stamps and more: Make your mark
Simon Says Stamp: Create with critters

Materials:
Stampabilities label stamp (the owl), Pro Markers, Distress ink for the sky, Wink of Stella, Glossy Accents, white Posca pen. Cuttlebug embossing folder, TH ruler for paper piercing, Exchangeables alphabet stamps, black Memento ink, white Sakura pen, black Fine Art pen.

Snark on! Be you, the world will adjust!

Things with wings at Sweet Stampin'

I've been stroking the DP for many years and now I had good reason to use it for a card with Wings. Why not join our Things with Wings challenge at Sweet Stampin'. Just remember to use a stamp, digi or rubber. We're being sponsored by Crafts and Me, please check our blog for the details and the teams gorgeous cards.

I'm entering Addicted to stamps Anything Goes challenge.

Papermania sentiment stamp, Nestie butterflies stacked :)

I been admiring all those wonderful dies with stitches but being a thrifty person I went for easy paper piercing, Distress ink and Golden Liquid Pearls. And went directly to the boxing day sales!!! Enjoy the weekend sweeties!

Wow!!! So honoured!!!

Woman unleashed

During the mid winter break I've enjoyed parts of the Woman Unleashed Online Retreat, especially the beautiful Tamara Laporte's fabulous journal tutorials. I used a picture from a magazine and made it to something completely different. This journal spread is about authenticity and following your core values even when they are challenged.

The light is very dull today so it was a challenge to take a photo too :)

The real colours are more like this!

Thank you so much for visiting, it's much appreciated! I'm having a getting things done weekend; cleaning, sorting, filling the stocks and dusting off. The best part of it it that I reward myself to some new stash, yeah, I know, I work that way! Otherwise I would be spending the entire weekend cuddled up in the sofa with a cuppa reading  a book or two:)

Something New with Sweet Stampin'

Happy New Year!!!! Hope you had a wonderful New Year's eve, we had a lovely one with yummy food and a glass or two of bubble and we could see all the fireworks from Stockholm, it was amazing.

We have an easy challenge at Sweet Stampin' this week; New Stash or New Occassion. Just remember to stamp, rubber or digi! You have the chance to win a special Sweet Stampin' Goodie Bag!!!!!

I went for the New Stash with this lovely embossing folder and the colours of fireworks. This was so easy to create so I ended up with three cards in no time.

Golden embossing powder.

Challenges:
Crafty Calendar: Something New
House of Cards: Embossing (and/or colours)
4 Crafty Chicks: Anything Goes
Cute Card Thursday: Anything Goes

Silver embossing powder. This is my favourite!

Materials used:
Freebie sentiment from the Craft Stamper magazine stamped with embossing ink onto Bazzill cardstock that was cut out with a Michael Strong flower die.

Tim Holtz mini ink pads (Cracked pistachio, Mermaid lagoon, Abandoned coral and Fossilized amber) swept across one of the inner sides of the lovely Darice embossing folder. The the paper was inserted into the folder and run through the Cuttlebug. This technique uses the folder both for texture and colouring :)

The insides of the embossed ornaments were stamped with Penny Black tiny star stamp using the Distress inks and dots of Stickles were added.

Thank you so much for visiting, it's much appreciated.

Five Christmas Favourites of 2015

I'm back with five Christmas favourites for 2015 to join Debby's challenge; this first one has lovely Zarntangles.

Penny Black is another all time favourite.

This reminds me of CAS old Japanese designs, Hero Arts has lovely patterns.

Ok, Brushos are just amazing, every time. The first try was horrible though :)

Clean Nordic design at it's best.

And something fun!!! Oh, and I can't count !!!!

Thank you so much for visiting! All your support is heart warming!
