Time for Graduation

Springtime means time for graduation, here's one with fabulous sparkle and minimal stamping. I used a variety from my snippets collection which is now in recession. Soon I might treat myself to some new patterned papers :)

Challenges:
4 Crafty Chicks: Graduation

The fabulous glitter paper and a string from a gift.

Materials:
Panduro papers, Cuttlebug postage stamp die, Quickutz star dies, Exhchangeables alphabet stamps, watering can Archival ink, 3D squares.

Ok, this one went wishy washy, the mint green faded away when taking the photo. That happens...as I'm entering an 80's challenge, can I say that the 80's has faded away for me.  Or I'm so wishing it, I actually had a pair mint green tartan patterned trousers. And a neon pink top!!! Please erase my entry if I went too rogue here :)

Addicted to stamps and more: Anything Goes
Cute card Thursday: No dp
Moving Along with the times: The 80's
Simon Says Stamp: Anything Goes

Materials used:
Hero Arts large background stamp, Distress inks, clear embossing powder, Art-C sentiment stamp and label die, Watering can Archival ink, ribbon from t-shirt, Panduro gems.

Thank you for visiting, enjoy the weekend! We're actually having a wonderful sunshine and warm breezes here.

Being Bold

Weekend at last and time for Paint Party Friday, yay!!! I mixed my medias totally and went with the flow; acrylics, texture gel, Brushos, Perfect Pearls and charcoal. The shimmer made it a challenge to take a decent pic.

The opposite journal page.

Thank you for visiting, it's much appreciated! Hope you'll have a wonderful crafty weekend. I'll be working with my plant containers adding a bit more flowers and some herbs. Happy Friday!

Pink & Girly at Sweet Stampin'

I'm late with my post, I got an awful bug and I've been keeping the tea companies alive this week. As you can guess, we're going pink at Sweet Stampin'. I'll be there soon too :)

I'm also entering the Girly challenge at Simon Says Stamp.

A perfect book tag or for decisions :)

I used the Alco ink floating colours technique to make the background, Dylusions stamps, Distress ink, white Posca pen for highlights, star sequins, EK Success corner adorners, pink eyelet, eyelet punch and glitter ribbon.

I better head back to a hot cuppa, thank you for visiting! Hope my bug hasn't gone viral...just kidding! My bug is a nasty little bacteria, I'll cure it with some David Bowie and Prince songs :)

Standing tall

Here's something for Paint Party Friday, I'm not particularly fast when painting, and I'll probably add some shadowing and highlights to this one. Maybe even a few more layers of colours.

I've experienced an unexpected feeling of freedom when using Willowing's method off processing every day life through journaling and colours. I used a magazine photo as a template for the face.

Dylusion stencil, Washi tape, different acrylic colours and pens, Liquitex gesso.

Thank you so much for visiting, it's much appreciated!

Happy Friday!!!

Swirls & Pearls at Sweet Stampin'

Sending you some sweet tweets today! We're having a new lovely challenge at Sweet Stampin'; Swirls and Pearls. So why not make good use of some stamps, rubber or digi, and join us. We're being sponsored by Live & Love Crafts, please check our website for all the details and to see the teams fabulous cards.

Challenges:
Moving along with the times: In the garden
Addicted to stamps: Anything Goes
STAMPlorations: Anything Goes

Materials used:
Stamplorations bird stamped with Black Memento ink onto snippets and coloured with ProMarkers. The birds were fuzzy cut out and mounted on 3D squares.

The background was made with acrylic colours and a small Gelli plate. It gives a nice thin and really smooth coat of paint on paper, I can recommend it if you like me have a lot of unused colours.

The swirls are a Penny Black image stamped with Distress ink and the enamel dots that I went rogue with are Recollections. They do look like plastic pearls.

Thank you so much for visiting, it's much appreciated. I'm enjoying the bank holidays this weekend and looking forward to sow some plant seeds. Hope the birds won't find the seeds tasty :)

Happy Easter!!!
